If macOS says the app is “damaged”
That message is often misleading: macOS is blocking the app because it is not signed with a Developer ID certificate and stapled with a notarization ticket—not because the disk image is corrupt.
Try Control‑click HireMate AI.app, choose Open, then click Open first. If an alert still appears, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and look for an option to allow the app, then try again.
If your organization allows it, you can clear quarantine metadata after copying the app to Applications (adjust the path if you installed elsewhere):
xattr -cr "/Applications/HireMate AI.app"A future release can remove these prompts by shipping a Developer ID signed, notarized build. Until then, the steps above are the supported workaround.
This build is not Apple Developer ID signed or notarized yet, so Gatekeeper and MDM policies may require the steps below. Distribute only installers from this official source.
Download HireMate AI.dmgIntegrity. Cryptographic checksums (SHA-256) for each artifact can be published alongside your internal change record or customer release notes on request. Do not rename installers after download if you are tracking hashes.
Support. For volume deployment, document the install path, allowed execution directories, and any proxy or firewall rules required for your AI provider endpoints in your own runbook.
